Bulk Vending
How It Works
Unlike snack or drink machines that use complex electronics, bulk machines use a mechanical rotary wheel. When a coin is inserted and the handle is turned, the wheel rotates a specific distance to drop a portion of product into the chute.
Common Product Categories
Bulk vending is generally split into three main "fills":
- Confections: Gumballs, M&Ms, Skittles, Jawbreakers, and Mike and Ikes.
- Toys & Novelties: 1-inch or 2-inch plastic capsules containing figurines, sticky hands, or puzzles.
- Bouncy Balls: High-bounce rubber balls in various sizes (27mm to 49mm).
